DAY 1: HANOI – HALONG BAY – LAN HA BAY
| 08:30 | Luxury van picks you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta on the way to Ha Long Bay. |
| 11:30 | Arriving at Tuan Chau Marina, have check-in procedures at the waiting lounge. |
| 12:15 | Transfer to Orchid Cruises by a tender boat. Welcome guests onboard and enjoy our special homemade welcome drinks. Guests will be seated in our restaurant to receive a short cruise briefing & safety instructions. |
| 13:00 | Passengers will take lunch while cruising Ha Long Bay – Lan Ha Bay – one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature. |
| 15:00 | Head to Dark and Bright Cave, the ideal place to admire the beauty of Ha Long Bay by bamboo boat or kayak. |
| 17:00 | Orchid Cruises enter an open, sparsely populated area at Tra Bau – Lan Ha Bay. Please enjoy a nice swim in the green emerald water here. |

DAY 2: LAN HA BAY

| 07:00 | Breakfast is served in the restaurant with a morning view of our bay’s landscape, then we continue our journey. | |
| 08:45 | Boarding Orchid Cruises day boat to visit Viet Hai fishing village. Cycling along the village (Optional electric car service is available) to enjoy the stunning landscape of Cat Ba’s rainforest and dark tunnels, witness the scenery of rice fields, visit the ancient houses, and experience the local life. | |
| 11:00 | Return to the boat and enjoy lunch. | |
| 14:00 | Visit Ba Trai Dao (Three peach islets), this peaceful body of water has beautiful scenery, making it the perfect place for scenic kayaking or relaxing on a sandy beach. | |
| 17:00 | Back on Orchid Cruises and you might join another cooking class. It’s time to contemplate the magnificent sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin while having a few drinks during Happy Hour at our bar on the top deck. |

DAY 3: HALONG BAY – HANOI
| 06:30 | It is a perfect time to refresh and indulge yourself in the peaceful beauty of the bay with a tai chi session on the sundeck. If you want to hunt for dawn, get up from 5:30 to 6:00 depending on the season. |
| 07:00 | We will have breakfast at the restaurant while continuing the cruise. |
| 07:45 | Kayaking activities in the Ao Ech area to discover the hidden charm of Ha Long – Lan Ha Bay. |
| 08:30 | Orchid Cruises welcomes you back on board and it is time for checking out. |
| 10:00 | Enjoy a delightful brunch at our restaurant while cruising back. |
| 11:30 | Disembark at Tuan Chau Marina, it’s time to say best wishes and end your cruise with us. |
| 14:30 | Back to your drop-off point in Hanoi. End of the trip. |
We were taken care of from hotel pick-up in hanoi to drop off, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive and made sure our dietary requirements were met. Jessi the tour guide was great. Lots of activities. Kayaking, swimming, bike ride, tour of a local village, etc. We stayed two nights, and are glad we did as one night might not have been enough to soak it all in. Super relaxing getaway. Really nice room and great food.
We had a 2 night 3 day experience and loved every moment (husband and I travelling with another couple of good friends). The staff are so friendly and professional – nothing was too much trouble, the food was amazing (salivating just thinking about it!), the cabin large, clean and comfortable. Loved the gentle cruising around the bay and happy hour! The bay itself is spectacular, the little exploration stops for kayaking and swimming, Cat Ba Island etc. the only complaint – the cruise wasn’t long enough! 5 stars for a 5 star cruise, highly recommend Azalea Cruises.
It was luxury from the Hanoi hotel pickup in the limo seated van to our first look at the boat and in particular our 2nd deck cabin.
The food was beautiful and consisted of buffet breakfasts and lunch each day and in the evening were greeted to a 5 course set menu.
All tastes were well catered for.
The staff were fantastic and particularly helpful and attended to any request with a smile and a great attitude. They get to know your personal likes n dislikes.
I sweat lots with the humidity so I was greeted each night with a seat near the aircon and an ice cold face towel.
A couple of minor knocks would be the wifi is pretty much non existent and the minibars don’t get cold at all.

Perfect organization, from the moment of pick-up at the hotel to our return the following day. Transfer to the harbor by comfortable minivan, and to the ship with tender. We never had to worry about our luggage, everything was handled in the best way. The cabin was spacious, the bathroom was well furnished with shower and bathtub. We loved the food on board. Absolutely recommended!
From being picked up at our hotel to arrival at the dock, everything went smoothly. The actual check-in took time, which would not normally matter apart from the fact that it was so hot. We were guided to the vessel that took us to the ship. We did not have to worry at all about our luggage as everything was taken care of. On arrival we went to our allocated cabin. This was spacious, well furnished, fabulous view, bathroom with shower and jacuzzi bath tub.
The food throughout the trip was very good… the first night Asian food and the second night more Western. (The lamb was exceptional)
The day trip to the village was well organised and really interesting to see life of the island people.
Throughout the trip the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made the trip even more enjoyable.
If I had one criticism it would be that the instructions with regard to activities, departure, meal times were sometimes not clear, and different members of staff gave different instructions. This was not a major problem, but sometimes was frustrating
Overall summary is that it was an excellent 2 nights in a fabulous location. Thanks
