Abandoned Valley Trekking – Hang E (E Cave)

You should not miss out on the Quang Binh trekking tour of the Survival Valley if you want to explore the pristine and magnificent beauty of nature. You will challenge yourself with adventurous activities and adventures. You will set foot in places you have never known before and talk to people you have never met but share the passion for exploration and enthusiasm flowing in your veins.

Tour Itinerary

• 7:00 AM: Pick guests up from Dong Hoi area.
• 8:00- 8:30 AM: Pick guests up from Phong Nha area.
• 9:00 AM: Welcome to the operations center, where we’ll have a briefing about the itinerary, skills, and preparation for the trip.
• 9:30 AM: Warm up and start trekking Abandoned Valley 3 kilometers through the jungle and rocky terrain.
• 11:00 AM: Explore by swimming inside the 1.2km – 1.5km E Cave, the most beautiful turquoise water cave in Quang Binh.
• 12:00PM: Fresh lunch will be served in the jungle
• 1:45 PM – 3:00 PM: Participate in outdoor sports in E Cave: SUP, snorkeling, water polo,
  swimming float for sunbathing, squirt gun…
• Special: Each guest will have a 15-second underwater GoPro video filmed by the our team.
• 3:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Afternoon with seasonal fruits, cookies, yogurt, tea, and coffee.
• 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM: Journey back 2.5 kilometers.
• 5:30 PM: Complete the journey.

We will provide:

• Entrance fees to Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park
• Tax and environmental protection fees, ensuring natural resources
• Tour guide and porter assistance throughout the tour
• Meals and beverages
• Caving and camping equipment, including helmets, headlamps, gloves, and life jackets
• Military boots/sandals for jungle trekking (for guests without proper footwear, sizes 36-43)
• Dry bag for small-sized phones and cameras (Please notify us in advance if you have a larger-sized camera). Dry bags are only prepared in case of high water levels.
• Medical and rescue equipment

You need to prepare:

• Light and quick-drying clothing:
• 1 set of trekking clothes, preferably with long sleeves to avoid insect bites
• 1 set of swimwear
• 1 set of spare clothes for after the trip (if needed)
• 1 pair of high-quality military hiking boots/sandals suitable for rugged terrains (DO NOT wear waterproof shoes as they do not have good water drainage)
• 1 pair of long and thick socks (avoid low-cut socks)
• 1 spacious backpack to hold your personal items: mosquito repellent, sunglasses, hat, camera, underwear, toiletries, sunscreen, and swimwear.

Please ensure that your fitness level is suitable for the following activities for the trip:

• A 6-kilometer round-trip hike through the beautiful and pristine jungle of Abandoned Valley
• A dip in the emerald waters of E cave, the most beautiful water cave in Phong Nha, Quang Binh
• A stunning personal video of E Cave filmed by a Gopro camera by our team.
