Crafted by Phong Nha Discovery, this approximately 6-kilometer expedition offers three unforgettable experiences: traversing lush tropical forests through survival valleys, delving into magnificent stalactite formations, and uncovering Phong Nha’s most stunning blue water cave. Dive deep into the cave, paddle-board over its serene waters, and marvel at the diverse aquatic life below.

8:00 – 8:30: Pick up guests from Phong Nha.
9:00: Arrive at the operations center for an orientation session covering the itinerary, necessary skills, and trip preparation.
9:30: Begin the trek through the Abandoned Valley, covering 3 kilometers of jungle and rugged terrain.
11:00: Explore the enchanting E Cave, swimming through its 1.2km – 1.5km expanse of turquoise waters, widely acclaimed as the most beautiful in Quang Binh.
12:00: Enjoy a hearty lunch.
13:45 – 15:00: Engage in a variety of outdoor activities within E Cave, including stand-up paddle-boarding (SUP), snorkelling, water polo, floating for sunbathing, and playful squirt gun battles.
Special: Each guest will receive a 15-second underwater GoPro video filmed by our team.
15:00 – 15:30: Indulge in a refreshing afternoon break with seasonal fruits, cookies, yogurt, tea, and coffee.
15:30 – 17:00: Trek back 2.5 kilometers to return to base.
17:30: Conclude the day’s adventure. Depart for Dong Hoi or Phong Nha hotels.

Fitness Level: 
A good level of fitness is required for the challenging terrain of the jungle hike. You will have to wade hip-high through streams, descend down slopes etc. Swimming is not a requirement. This tour is not suitable for children under 12 years.
Please ensure that your fitness level is suitable for the following activities for the trip:
• A 6 -kilometer round-trip hike through the beautiful and pristine jungle of Abandoned Valley.
• A dip in the emerald waters of E cave, the most beautiful water cave in Phong Nha, Quang Binh

You need to prepare:
• Light and quick-drying clothing
• 1 set of trekking clothes, preferably with long sleeves to avoid insect bites
• 1 set of swimwear
• 1 set of spare clothes for after the trip (if needed)
• 1 pair of high-quality military hiking boots/sandals suitable for rugged terrains (DO NOT wear waterproof shoes as they do not have good water drainage)
• 1 pair of long and thick socks (avoid low-cut socks)
• 1 spacious backpack to hold your personal items: insect repellent, sunglasses, hat, camera, underwear, sunscreen.
