We spent 3 days two nights on this amazing boat it was the highlight of our two week trip to Vietnam.

It is worth upgrading to a 5 star boat and paying a little extra as you get a lot of value the food is amazing and the boat is great and the staff are outstanding the service was incredible.
The BBQ dinner on the last night was just amazing on the top deck.

We had great weather and the actual scenery was just awe inspiring and we were very lucky to have great weather. The boat goes to parts of the bay where other boats do not go which made the trip even more special as you had no other boats around you, we stayed in the AUCO suite which was a great room very spacious and at the front of the boat.

Thank you AUCO staff for making this a great highlight of our trip

A full day and one night on board would have been sufficient as I only wished to see the wonderful bay and enjoy this in comfort with excellent food.
The staff are extremely welcoming and everything they organise is to the highest standard, this included a cooking demo and contest, kayaking, a cave trip on the following day a farm trip which AUCO sponser, subsidize and obtain their vegetables and spices.
It was encouraging to see staff collecting plastic washed up on the beach trip, this was spoiled due to the sea being full of jelly fish.
The cruise is very expensive compared with luxury Australian Pacific cruises and, not being a fan of organised entertainment, a full one day cruise would have been sufficient for me.
The over 3 hour mini bus trip from Hanoi was a nightmare with dreadful drivers, especially so on the return leg. The float plane was fully booked, the journey time is roughly the same by the time you get to the airport. This is a very expensive alternative. .

From the moment I stepped in on this boat the moment I stepped out I felt pampered, pleased and perfectly relaxed.

The food choices, the comfort of the upscale cabin, and the hilarious entertainment from the crew made this a truly unforgettable experience.

Highly recommend it if you want to get pampered.

Easily our favourite part of Vietnam, and easily the best way to see it. This cruise goes out further than the others, so they have a large part of the bay to themselves. The scenery is gobsmackingly beautiful (I’m still editing the thousands of images I shot in two days…) and the Au Co and crew are wonderful. The food is great, including a BBQ on the top deck. And there are caves…

We have just returned from a tour of Vietnam and our Au Co two night cruise was an absolute highlight. Nothing could beat the scenery in this Bay but it was matched by the staff, food and accommodation on the Au Co 1. We went bike riding, kayaking, boating and were entertained by onboard entertainment. Not to be missed when in Vietnam!
