What a fabulous boat to cruise Halong Bay and its surrounds. The crew was wonderful – so enthusiastic and friendly and just lovely. They really made the trip wonderful. The spacious cabins were very comfortable with separate bathrooms, including baths! Our meals were had on the open deck, under shade sails, and this made for a very memorable cruising experience. The food was never-ending and so good. The cruise also included a stop at a sandy beach for a swim or kayak and this proved to be one of the highlights.
The crew was incredibly friendly and even other passengers welcomed me to join them so I didn’t feel lonely or unsafe and I had an excellent time.
Our guide JD taught me how to kayak on the way to the beach- this was the highlight of the cruise for me.
The room was spotless and very comfortable with a lovely view. That and all the activities from our first day ensured I slept like a baby.
The cave was beautiful and not crowded at all when we went. Bai tu long bay in general wasnt crowded or polluted. It was clean and the beaches were clean and quiet.
The food could be better, but that may just be me since I haven’t yet been blown away by Vietnamese cuisine. The other guests seemed to love it.
The upper deck was very relaxing with a breathtaking view. Sunset was especially amazing.
I would highly recommend this cruise – it’s worth what you pay for it.
A buddy and I recently enjoyed a 2 day/1 night trip. The company picked us up from our hotel in Hanoi with safe and relaxing with Wi-Fi transport to Halong Bay. During our tender boat trip to the Dragon boat, our guide spoke to us (in clear English) about what to expect (minute by minute). Accommodations and food were wonderful. The entire staff went above and beyond to ensure all customers were happy. Wonderful experience.
An modern but oriental elegant style ship, wonderful food, and hospitable services. Well timing activities, visiting floating villages, caves, kayaking, squid fishing, BBQ lunch etc. Sunset on top deck just amazing. Can’t recommend highly enough.
I am glad that we chose Indochina junk. We were well taken care of since the beginning till the end. We booked 2 connecting rooms; one is big with bath tub and another is much smaller with a small toilet. The food on boat was generous. Staffs are happy serving and entertaining the guests. Mr Harry Potter, the crew lead, is entertaining and well liked by my young kids. In the end, they felt sad to leave the boat.
Yen Duc village is ok to be missed.
